From a distance was an emotional read that I couldn't put down. I devoured this book within a couple of hours. The writing was impeccable and the story flowed at a great pace. I cried with the characters, I was angry at them and angry with them. The ending was bittersweet and had me sobbing like a baby.

Karrie had it all, falling in love with and marrying a man older than her was one of the best days of her life. 5 years they have been together and she loves him fiercely, his job takes him out of town and recently she has noticed a change in him. With things becoming strained between the couple her life is thrown into more turmoil.

Karrie is a part time nurse and she is on duty the night that her life will change forever!!!

It was all lies, so much deceit, too many secrets resulting in a soul crushing heartache.

Karrie needs answers and she finds herself turning to the man that has always been a thorn in her side.

But everything is not as it seems and there is a fine line between love and hate!

Tyler holds the key to Karrie's future, he can give her the answers and tools to find her happiness again...

L.M. Carr, author of The Giving Trilogy, is a wife, a mom, an educator, a reader and a writer who lives in central Connecticut with her family and two dogs.
