Caroline is a very controlled organised straight down the line career girl. Building her career as an accountant hasn't been easy but she has nearly made it, she wants to everything her mother wasn't and hopes to forget the past. When her boss starts making inappropriate suggestions she really doesn't know what to do, she needs this job and she needs him to help her achieve her goals but Jesus he is coming on strong and completely freaking her out. 

Rex has been well known to have a different woman each night , there is no way on earth he was the settling down type,, that was until Caroline AKA "Lux " came into his life.

Rex was called in to help protect Caroline from her sleazy boss and is determined to win her over, he has a fight on his hands. Caroline isn't used to the MC lifestyle and doesn't really get what its all about. 

Caroline needs more protecting than they first thought and danger she is in grows very quickly. Rex has made mistakes in the past and needs to make sure Caroline isn't his next mistake.

Another great story to the series, although Caroline was in a lot of danger I didn't quite feel the anxious edge that I normally would when reading a story like this one, I cant pin point what was off so I'm putting it down to it just being me and maybe I just had a lot of faith in Rex to save her and the story was great read. I do love to see a hot alpha male being whipped into place when they really didn't think one woman would be enough.

Every time I read the next book in this series I get to the end and say that one was my favorite, there are a lot of books in the series but they all hold there own and they never bore me, just leave me wanting more
