What a great story regarding forbidden love. This book draws you in and has you gripped from beginning to end. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants and you can’t help who you fall in love with. I couldn’t help feeling sorry for both Mollie and Jackson throughout this book, would they ever catch a break and get the HEA they both deserve.

This story started 8 years ago when Mollies sister married Jackson. Mollie had been in love with Jackson since she met him, but she could never act on it she always remained his friend.

When Jackson is involved in a career shattering crash and he is served Divorce papers his world is ripped apart. Yes he knew his marriage wasn’t in the best shape but he never expected to be kicked whilst he was down. With his career in tatters he leaves Texas and moves to New York where he becomes a sports fitness journalist at Oxford. He keeps himself to himself and he hasn’t spoken to Mollie for 8 mths but he knows she still cares as she updates him regularly.

Mollie loved Jackson and she couldn’t believe her sister had done what she had but if she was honest she had watched their downfall and stuck around to help pick up the pieces. She continues to reach out to Jackson but gets no reply until one day he agrees to meet with her.
